The rounded bow of anchor shackles allow them to take loads from multiple directions without developing excessive side load. That makes them excellent for connecting slings to load rings use with wider straps or use with multiple-leg slings. G-2140 shackles meet the performance requirements of Grade 8 shackles and are stamped with the working load limit PIC and Crosby brand name. They are approved for use at temperatures between -40F / -40C and 400F / 204C and can meet DNV impact requirements of 42 Joules 31 ft-lb at 4F / -20C. : Why Choose Bolt Type Anchor Shackles: Bolt type anchor shackles are intended for long-term installation or permanent installation or if theres a risk of a load sliding on the shackle pin which can cause it to rotate.
