The die-cast process reduces the possibility of porosity in the aluminum that could create a weak point in the propeller. The propellers are hand ground then cleaned and EDP finished with Mercury’s Phantom Black glossy enamel to protect the propeller from corrosion. The propeller uses Flo-Torq II Hub System to cushion and protect the engine drivetrain from most damage causing impacts.
