Tripod drinkers are a versatile and popular feeder in the UK. They can store a large amount of drinking water in a relatively small space. Tripod drinkers are also very easy to fill and transport. This particular tripod drinker is most suited to chickens ducks and other larger game. There are two methods for filling the tripod drinker. Firstly the white semi-transparent water tank is lifted out of the base taken to a tap and filled by removing the blue handle-cap at the top of the drinker. Alternatively the whole tripod drinker can be left in place and a hose can be used to refill from the top. Positioning the water pan off the ground makes tripod drinkers very good for preventing water spoilage from dust and dirt being scraped in by your birds. This particular unit can hold up to 30ltrs of water. It measures 36cm wide and 72cm tall. The water tray is roughly 16cm off ground-level.Suits variety of poultry
