Honouring Sailors foundation year the 1911L large fountain pen marries an effortless writing experience with a classic design of rounded curves. The iconic fountain pen of Sailor features a glossy white resin barrel and cap complemented by gold-plated metal details. The cap screws to open/close and can push to post onto the back of the barrel when writing. The Sailor 1911L comes with a Sailor proprietary converter as well as two proprietary Sailor Black ink cartridges. The Sailor 1911L large fountain pen uses a 21k gold nib and has a cartridge/converter filling mechanism. Sailor pens was established in 1911 in Japan becoming the first to produce fountain pens in their home country. They have subsequently built a first-class reputation in the manufacture of the highest quality nibs with all parts made in their own factory in Hiroshima.
