The MAV-1 junior big barrel bat is built with an XLD extra long draw optimized aluminum alloy that creates thinner barrel walls across a wider area of the barrel resulting in the maximum allowed performance across the entire length of the barrel for a more consistent sweet spot. The MAV-1 bat’s -10 length-to-weight ratio and balanced swing weight provide quick bat speed and control through the hitting zone. The MAV-1 is designed with a thinner handle for the top hand creating stronger control of the barrel then transitioning into a smooth taper toward the knob for a clean and comfortable feel. The MAV HP alloy barrel profile provides a larger hitting surface designed to create a wider more consistent sweet spot. The one-piece aluminum construction yields a traditional swing feel with maximum stiffness and a responsive feel. The power boost soft knob provides hitters with more leverage while reducing vibration and improving comfort for the bottom hand. A flow-tack grip gives hitters a comfortable and tacky grip for the best feel and control at the plate. The Easton MAV-1 baseball bat is approved for play in USSSA baseball.
