The AXL is a telemark binding developed by the American brand 22 Designs.This binding has a pivot mode that is easy to use when hiking. It is one of the only touring bindings that has the famous pivot points for downhill skiing. This allows the binding to adapt to different boot sizes and skiers’ preferences so it is much more efficient than a “single pivot”. They are very easy to use with the climbing wedge. They have a stainless steel and polycarbonate plastic construction with super-strong cables from aerospace research.This AXL is designed for demanding telemarkers who want excellent contact with the snow.
