Mexeseal is an ultra low-odor water-based satin or medium-gloss clear sealer suitable for interior flooring over porous terra cotta or stone tile and masonry surfaces. Its hard durable finish affords long-term protection against food oil and water stains scuffing and black heel marks. This is not suitable for granite countertops because it is not food grade. Mexeseal stops the off-gassing of toxic chemicals. It has almost no odor during application and is safe even for the chemically sensitive. This product is not suited for any polished surfaces such as granite modern Saltillo tile and quarry tile as they contain salts that contaminate the surface. It is not intended for food grade surfaces.
