The AGM Wolf-7 Pro is a night vision optic with a Generation 2 image intensifier tube in traditional night vision green. The device is compatible with two eyes and comes with a head mounting system goggle kit and a helmet adapter for hands-free use. This makes it comfortable even during prolonged use. These night vision goggles are equipped with a Generation 2 image tube IIT. This displays the surroundings in Green Phosphor. This amplifies the residual or ambient light by a factor of a thousand. This allows you to work for a long time without IR light as even minimal residual light can be converted into a visual image. After all an IR lamp would immediately reveal your position to other people with a night vision device. However if you are in a dark room with no residual light you can simply use the inbuilt infrared illuminator. You can adjust it in terms of power and size of the infrared beam.
