The Behringer NX1000 power amplifier is reliable efficient and powerful with 500 watts per side in a 2-ohm load. The High-Density Class-D technology is cool-running reliable and has “near-zero” thermal buildup. Class-D amplification offers the ultimate in energy efficiency eliminating the need for a heavy power supply and massive heat sinks. This technology makes it possible to build powerful amplifiers that are significantly lighter in weight and use less energy than conventional amps. The built-in stereo crossover is a very useful feature that’s sure to benefit almost all users. You have two modes to choose from: Full-Range mode where the output is sent unfiltered to your loudspeakers or bi-amp mode which sends the low-frequency content 100 Hz is channeled to your full-range speakers. The NX1000s design incorporates a higher damping factor that yields better amplifier control over loudspeakers for stronger audio reproduction while the new SmartSense Technology puts the punch back into your audio providing improved full-range frequency response with powerful dynamic bass and smoother high-frequency reproduction. Both channels feature positive-detent Gain controls with Signal LEDs that light when a signal is present as well as Clip LEDs to indicate when the signal is distorted and alerts you to reduce the input signal. The rear panel has combination XLR and 1/4″ TRS Input connectors making the amp compatible with almost any source balanced or unbalanced. Professional twist-lock speaker sockets are provided as well as switches to select your choice of dual mono stereo or mono bridge mode. Give Andy’s a call and get yours on the way.
