This 8 channel direct box seems to be working well. I tested with an acoustic guitar with a piezo pickup on all channels. The only issue I noticed is that on channel 7 the -30db button led to some cutting in and out. Other than that I found everything functioning as it should. I haven’t tested all the link/ unbalanced output features which I leave for someone with more audio expertise than myself considering I don’t really know what they are for. I found the sound clarity to be very good on this thing. The guitar was sounding nice and full as opposed to the tinny sound that often comes from a piezo pickup. I did notice a slight improvement in sound quality running the guitar through this box rather that going straight into my UA Volt audio interface so that speakers to Behringer’s surprisingly decent sound quality.
