Harking back to Yvon Chouinards original curved-pick mountain axe Black Diamonds Raven ice axe is a classic piolet for traditional winter walks and alpine climbs. This is a refined axe made in aircraft-grade aluminium with a trapezoidal cross-section for a better grip. Up top the investment-cast stainless steel head has beautifully curved edges to ensure comfort while walking. At the base a revamped spike adds bite in icy conditions.
