BD Black Diamond Distance 8L is a perfect trail running backpack for both trail runs that turn into rock climbing and alpine adventures on a wide spectrum of mountain terrains! This hybrid pack blends running vest technology with mountaineering packs allowing you to carry the gear you need while remaining light as a feather and comfortable enough to move fast. Constructed with 10x UHMWP Ripstop yarns the Distance’s fabric is 10 times stronger than steel of the same weight while remaining light enough to float on water.The shoulder strap system features Stitch-less Edge Taping technology which features fully taped rather than stitched edges and seams allowing for increased comfort movement and reduced weight. There’s also a bungee-adjustable side compression system which allows for greater grip and stability as you run and climb.This vest-like system also includes two pockets for water bottles and one for a emergency shell. The main compartment has a quick opening and a hidden pocket to store essential items while a mesh partition allows you to better organize your load. On the outside there are both ice ax holders and pole holders essential for when the matter gets technical.
