The Blizzard Rustler 11 has long been a trusted ski for those looking for an all-mountain or freeride charger that can do it all. Designed by Blizzard to meet the demanding needs of their freeride pros but still have properties that allow the rest of us to access the full potential of the skis. For the 23/24 season Blizzard has updated the construction to make it a more stable ski while retaining its playful nature. The all-new Rustler now sports a TrueBlend wood core which combines stiffer Beech underfoot with Poplar and Paulownia at the tip and tail creating stability and power underfoot while keeping it playful and lowering swing weight. Adding a new titanal plate shape that wraps around the edges of the tip and tail helps the skis with stability when snow becomes chopped up and more variable. At 114mm underfoot the Rustler 11 first priority is floatation in powder. But weighing in at 2050g 186cm it’s still plenty of fun and easy to throw around in trees or on-piste. Combine them with hybrid bindings and you’ll have yourself a ski that can extend your powder day in the resort side-country.
