What can be said about the Blizzard Sheeva 9 that hasn’t already been said; it’s supportive playful quick edge-to-edge good float for its width 96mm. It’s been on the shortlist for skiers looking for all-mountain skis that can handle every snow condition. Now Blizzard has gone and given it a bunch of updates. Now sporting Blizzard’s signature TrueBlend core which uses a mix of woods with different densities to blend power and agility. Then they added titanal strips that run along the edges. And finally Blizzard put shock-absorbing fiberglass laminates underfoot to reduce chatter at high speeds and over firm snow. This ski will be happy shredding groomers or going for adventures off-piste. The Freeride Rocker profile and moderately sized shovel allow it to even handle shallower powder days.
