The Bontrager RIDEtime Elite looks like a simple odometer at first glance but nothing could be further from the truth With the RIDEtime Elite it is possible to measure your speed cadence heart rate and power output among other things. The only thing about this bike computer that makes it simple is it’s ease of use. To register your speed and cadence an ANT+ compatible sensor is required such as a Bontrager DuoTrap S or other brand sensor. The Bontrager RIDEtime Elite is controlled by just two buttons one on the front and one on the back. With these two buttons you can control everything on the 5 cm large illuminated display. The display has three fields so you can choose which three data readings you want to see such as your speed cadence cadence heart rate or power. With these functions you can view the average the current and the maximum. You also have the option to display the distance ride/total time clock timer or calories burnt. Because the RIDEtime Elite is equipped with all these user-friendly and automatic functions all that’s left for you to do is enjoy your ride The odometer is equipped with an automatic start/stop function automatically registers a new ride and has a backlight that automatically adjusts to the light conditions. If you have Bontrager lights on your bike you can set the daytime running lights to turn on and off automatically at the start and end of your bike ride.
