Dimension Squared DC-2W The Dimension C is a classic Boss signature effect unit providing a lush modulation tone unlike anything else. This pedal was originally only made from 1985-89 and originals have shot up in value on the used market thanks to use by artists like Prince and its distinctive tone. While most chorus pedals mix a modulated delay line with your dry signal the Dimension C mixes 2 out of phase modulated lines that feedback into each other for a rich and complex modulation tone without as much of the distracting cycling sounds. Boss has pared down the controls on this pedal to make it as easy as possible to dial in the perfect sound giving you just four mode buttons and a switch to toggle between the Dimension C circuit and the original rack mount Dimension D sound. The DC-2W steps it up however by allowing you to enable combinations of 2 of the 4 modes for a total of 20 different sounds available in mono or stereo thanks to the stereo inputs and outputs. This being a member of the Waza Craft series it has Boss’ updated buffer circuitry to make sure that you’re not losing any of your tone to bad bypass circuits or cable capacitance.
