Verify with a tape measure the jamb width you need is 4 9/16. Next measure how much rot needs to be replaced on your jambs. BOSS-Rx 4 9/16’Door Frame Rot Repair Kits are ideal for replacing up to 8 inches of rot on each of your jamb bottoms. Our added lap joints and 5 degree sill cuts simplify installation add greater strength and are highly tolerant to adjustment if you dont manage to make a perfectly straight cut on your jambs. Be aware cutting and replacing jamb bottoms requires tools and competency in basic carpentry. If you have more than 8” of rotted jamb bottoms you may wish to consider replacing the door frame entirely.
