Compared to the previous Mavrik model Mavrik 22 has been equipped with a classic face with a titanium layer instead of FS2S titanium the new face gives a slightly softer feel at impact and is marginally heavier. Two other more visual differences are that the finish has a matt copper colour and that the head cover now has a refined look. The Jailbreak technology remains with two metal rods connecting the crown and sole to make the head more stable upon impact with the ball. The head has an aerodynamic Cyclone shape that reduces drag when you swing and allows you to swing the club faster and gain more distance. With Callaways OptiFit hosel loft and lie can be selected without rotating the shaft. Overall its a lovely driver thats suitable for all types of golfers who want to increase their chances of hitting the fairways more often. Please note that the wrench tool is not included.
