This speaker came in my new TopHat King Royal I just purchased and sounds wonderful. I just prefer a more nasally tone so replaced it with an alinco speaker. The only reason I can’t honestly list this speaker as “mint” is because it shows a bit of use on the screw holes as you can see in the photos as they really put the screws in tight at Tophat. Other than that it’s basically new and still needs much more breaking in I’m sure. This speaker is 8 ohms. I actually miss the looks of it besides it being a great sounding speaker it’s very attractive.
- I bought this speaker from Adam at Tungsten Amplification and he broke it in for me on a variac.
- I wired it up once but decided to go with another speaker.
- It has a little solder on the terminals may have minor scratches from screws around screw holes.
