Bring any traditional microscope into the digital age with this 5 MP imager accessory. Simply remove your microscope standard 23mm or 30mm eyepiece and insert the camera with aluminum collar. The other end plugs into your computer’s USB 2.0 port. The camera receives power via USB so there is no additional cabling. Once connected to your PC start up the included Celestron Imager HD software for Windows 7.1 and up or Apple OSX 4.9 and up. If you’re connected to a Windows PC you’ll be able to capture the full 5 MP while Mac computers can capture images at 2 MP resolution. View a live stream from your microscope on your computer screen or connect it to a projector to share with your entire classroom or lab. You can capture still images or record video at any time. Then edit your saved images in the software–write notes highlight important areas or measure your specimens.
