As the bike supplier for Jumbo Visma Cervlo needed to create a bike that fit into the modern XCO scene. With terrain becoming more and more difficult they found a way to include a full suspension while remaining as fast as possible in the form of the ZFS-5. This bike can be seen powering through the trails with accomplished riders like Milan Vader and Fem van Empel. Like most Cervlo bikes you can count on this bike to be fast in all areas of the ride. It is a lightweight and efficient climber but is also very capable on the descent. The full suspension smooths out some of the chatter from the trail while keeping you focused on speed. There are two versions of the ZFS-5 and this is the more balanced one with some extra travel. At the rear you will find a Fox Factory Float shock with a longer stroke 190×45 configuration. The front is optimized for 120mm travel forks which allow riders to keep their speed and test themselves on rougher terrain. Cervlo used a single-pivot flex-stay design for the suspension which is used most on speed-focused bikes. This design requires just a link at the top tube mount eliminating the need for an extra piece near the rear axle. In turn the bike is lighter stiffer and requires less maintenance. Made with lightweight and stiff carbon the frame is professional level. Like most elite Cervlo bikes the ZFS-5 includes internal cable routing keeping a clean cockpit and better aerodynamics. The frame can support both electronic and mechanical shifting. This bike is the perfect solution for riders who want race speed but need some extra shock to deal with rough terrain. Cervlo is known for their racing prowess and the ZFS-5 is World Cup ready.
