Everything organic: Componibili Bio element by Kartell The component libraries are among Kartell’s best-selling and most representative designs. It is therefore not surprising that this customer is the first to be allowed to test a completely new material concept. The new model has the addition Bio because it is completely made of the new bioplastic from BIO-ON. The material is 100% natural and biodegradable. It is obtained from vegetable waste and is therefore one of the renewable raw materials. The admixture of microorganisms produces a material that is similar to plastic. It has the same thermomechanical properties as conventional plastic and is therefore easy to use in production. The participation and support of research on bioplastics is part of the project Kartell loves the planet to increase the value of sustainability concepts.Kartell loves the planet Kartell is committed to sustainability and environmental protection.
