These fall-protection kits have a pass-through anchor that can serve as a temporary anchor point in a full fall-arrest system. The anchor wraps around an overhead structural support such as a beam or brace to create a secure anchor point for attaching a connecting device such as a self-retracting lifeline SRL or shock-absorbing lanyard. Pass-through anchors self-tighten when downward force is applied. The kits also contain a safety harness and a connecting device which are worn on or attached to the body to arrest falls or lessen the effects of a fall.
