Notes: Interface Module OBD-II/CANDakota Digital OBD-II/CAN interfaces are designed to plug directly into your engine’s diagnostic port extracting transmission data from the OBD-II computer. They can output speed rpm and engine temperature. The interfaces decode the information supplied from the ECM and supply this information to the VFD3 rev. G VHX and HDX control box instruments.

  • The following info will be output to Dakota Digital systems by the BIM-01-2: speed tach engine temp.
  • GM Connect Cruise packages do not transmit the gear position data preventing the BIM-01-2 from acquiring this information.
