Despite all of the new technology in the Icon V2 it retains the trusted Japanese carbon fiber face material with an updated RP2 coating. This carbon fiber face with added texture allows the ball to linger on the face longer encouraging you to hit precise cut shots and controlled-yet-powerful drives from the baseline. The injected foam around the molded edge of this paddle expands the sweet spot from edge to edge of the 10.75″ by 7.6″ hitting surface while a replaceable edge guard ensures your paddle is protected and will look fresh throughout the tournament season. Finally a 5.25″ long handle adorned with a Diadem Comfort Max grip ensures you can really get the 8oz weight of this paddle moving on point-wining slams.
