Designed in a similar fashion to noise-isolating earmuffs these heavy-duty headphones use custom speaker assemblies designed to protect your eardrums. The speakers reside inside closed-back earcups with thick padding that effectively reduce external noise by up to 29dB. Ideal for use by live mixers who need to block out monitor speakers or by drummers who need to be able to hear the mix without setting their volume at an unreasonably high level the EX-29 is a perfect professional tool. You can even use them as critical mixing headphones during post-production. A long cable is provided for plenty of slack.
