The ENVE x Selle Italia Boost SLR saddle is a partnership between ENVE known for its lightweight and robust components and Selle Italia an Italian brand with 120 years of tradition in saddle manufacturing. Available in a variety of widths and with carbon or titanium rails the saddle comes with a shortened nose and a cutout that keeps weight down and flexes the lumbar spine while the wide SLR shape developed with the help of doctors and biomechanics positions the pelvis so that when you ride the force goes through the load-bearing sit bones rather than the delicate soft tissues. The saddle is also perforated to keep you dry and fresh after long miles on the bike and covered in a soft polyurethane upper to add a touch of luxury to the riding experience. The carbon rails are lighter than the titanium ones but also stiffer and more aggressive so you’re able to absorb more road vibrations. The rails are more elongated than round so the fit must be checked with existing seatposts. The round hollow titanium rails are compatible with a wider range of bikes and offer a smoother ride but don’t absorb vibrations as well as carbon. No matter which frame you choose you can be sure that your saddle will be super lightweight and designed to maintain an aggressive racing posture for longer while staying comfortable and avoiding strain.
