For breeding reptiles Exo Terra’s Incubator PRO makes incubating reptile eggs so much easier! The precision incubator is equipped with accurate dimming pulse-proportional heating and a hygrostat. The thermostat maintains the chosen temperature in the incubator while the hygrostat helps regulate the humidity using a USB humidifier. The temperature and humidity can be set digitally to suit the specific needs of the species and monitored with the LED display. The LED display shows the chosen settings as well as the actual values prevailing in the incubator. A 55 W heating element on the transparent lid of the incubator emits heat from above thus simulating natural heat conditions inside. The condensation that occurs as a result of the heat does not collect on the lid but is fed back into the humidifier reservoir. The incubator has an insulating layer made of foam and insulating side walls made of styrofoam. These ensure constant temperature values and prevent the loss of humidity. The incubator is designed such that even in the event of a power failure the temperature and humidity values remain the same as before the power failure.
