The FiiO K9 Pro ESS is a very versatile DAC and amplifier with Bluetooth various connections and high-quality components. It has the right outputs to connect headphones and speakers as well as several analogue and digital inputs to connect your music sources. In addition music can also be played wirelessly via Bluetooth from your smartphone tablet or notebook via the K9 Pro ESS. The many connection options make the FiiO K9 Pro ESS the ideal interface for all your audio equipment. The notebook is connected to the USB input of the FiiO K9 Pro ESS. Music players smartphones tablets etc. can be connected to the RCA input as well as coaxially or optically. Cinch and XLR outputs are available for connecting speakers. Headphones are connected to the front of the K9 Pro ESS balanced via XLR or 4.4 mm or unbalanced via 6.35 mm jack. A 6.35 mm to 3.5 mm adapter is included. On the front of the FiiO K9 Pro ESS is a control for three gain settings. A button can be used to switch between the input sources USB / optical / coaxial / line / Bluetooth. The large volume dial on the front of the K9 Pro ESS allows precise adjustment of the volume. The solid aluminium housing of the FiiO K9 Pro ESS is kept in discreet black and fits equally well on the desk or in the hi-fi rack. The two Sabre ES9038Pro digital-to-analogue converters from the ESS brand ensure a very lifelike and dynamic sound quality. The two built-in THX AAA788+ headphone amplifiers are real powerhouses and are capable of driving even demanding headphones and this practically free of sound colouration of any kind.
