Foxs Transfer Dropper Post has received a complete redesign in 2021 and as a result further improved the design with updated internals and an all new chassis. This results in a weight of 25g less than the 2020 model and made serviceability easier than ever. The Transfer is a cable-actuated post with “Stealth” routing that exits the bottom of the post and is routed internally through the frame. A tool-free connection makes installation and removal a cinch. On the inside a 400 PSI nitrogen-charged hydraulic cartridge provides smooth up-and-down action with infinite placement throughout the stroke and an integrated pressure release button releases pressure buildup in the post which can affect overall performance as well as return rate. Though Fox is no longer offering collar mounted cable routing on their Transfer Post the new internally routed chassis design has drastically reduced the overall length and minimum insertion depth on all sizes of the Transfer so fitment will no longer be an issue on even the smallest frames. Replacing the old zero-offset post head of previous transfer models is Foxs new patented clamp design that dramatically reduces stack height and provides better incremental adjustments compared to previous models. The lower part of the head is still machined right into the stanchion itself instead of bonded like some other droppers out there and the two-bolt design offers ample fore-aft adjustability and virtually eliminates any possibility of slipping on the saddle rails.
