With one charge you can take 500 photos and even up to 600 photos in economy mode. If the optional battery handle is fitted with two additional rechargeable batteries the camera has enough power for around 1450 photos and in economy mode even up to 1700 photos. When the battery power runs low the camera automatically switches to the next battery without turning off or interrupting the current recording e.g. video or continuous shooting.
