Flexible Layered Protection The E-Line Knee Guards take a multi-layered approach to protection. The first line of burly protection is the outer hard-shell sliders. These prevent jarring impacts as you slide along harder surfaces. Next comes Armortex. This Kevlar-blend material provides tough abrasion resistance and protection from cuts and scratches. This covers the core protectors the SmartFlex pads. Soft and flexible in normal use but hardening upon impact these absorb damaging forces on the knee when you hit the dirt. And lastly the inner layer is of a highly ventilated EVA foam keeping comfort levels high. Easy Adjustment In order to get the right fit and dial-in comfort the E-Lines feature adjustable hook and loop straps top and bottom. A zipper also makes it easier to get your pads on and off. This no-fuss system makes it quicker to get padded up and on the trails. Always a good thing. To the back the technical mesh offers enhanced breathability to minimize sweat buildup. Meanwhile ventilation holes run through each layer to keep you cooler when you’re on the go. Flatlock stitching is also used to reduce chafing and irritation as you move and muscle your bike across the trail. SmartFlex Technology These pads feature SmartFlex to give you highly flexible protection. The hinge-like design allows for more natural movement freeing you up to move and maneuver across any trail without feeling restricted.
