The Latvian boutique effect smith Gamechanger Audio has a way with making cool effect pedals – the Plus Pedal is basically a hold pedal for Audio signals. Chords or single notes can be held with the pedal so that cool ambient sound carpets can be created – you hold a chord and can then jam over this chord. Any effect pedal can be integrated into the hold circuit via the integrated FX loop – reverb or delay pedals can then be used to create wacky sound carpets. The whole thing is packed in a noble black lacquered housing with a real piano hold pedal. An optional wet foot switch can switch off the direct signal – only the effect signal is reproduced.
