Helle Damkjr took her inspiration from cherry blossoms in full bloom when she created the popular Bloom series. ‘My studio is located in Paris one of Europe’s most exciting cities. To challenge and break with the sources of inspiration I find in Europe I usually go to the Middle East to be inspired by Asia’s unique landscapes and natural forms. I was in Japan during spring and witnessed the overwhelming beauty of cherry blossoms in full bloom. The soft contours and shapes of the cherry blossom gave me the inspiration to create Bloom’ says Helle Damkjr. The Bloom bowls are made of stainless steel and are suitable for both serving good food as well as decoration on the table.
