The sleek aesthetic of the Avera is achieved by hiding the eps foam as well as the beveled detail on the venting slider designed so it can be adjusted easily while wearing mittens or gloves. This is a two-piece shell a tough outer hard shell with a polycarbonate lower shell permanently fused to the liner for durability without excess weight. Designed to pair seamlessly with Giro goggles this uses Stack Vent Technology to pull the warm air that causes goggle fogging out through vents built into the helmet for a fog free day behind those goggles and more fun in the snow.
