The HA1 Hinge Doctor tool is made to slip over the hinge butt when the door is closed. Start with the top hinge as that is where the problem usually is. Once the tool is slipped over the hinge butt open the door until you feel it binding. Then another 3-4 inches will rebend the hinge. Close the door and remove the Hinge Doctor HA1. In most cases this is all you need to do. If necessary repeat with the middle hinge or an additional time on the top hinge.
