The IDP SMART-21S Single-Sided ID Card Printer Kit is a simple compact solution for small businesses and organizations that use ID cards for members guests and employees. Design custom cards for your organization using IDP’s free SMART IDesigner software on your computer feed a blank card into the printer and have a full-color ID card in seconds. The SMART-21S utilizes direct dye sublimation printing to produce sharp images at resolutions of 300 600 and 1200 dpi. Boosted speeds of up to 720 cards per hour are possible when using monochrome ribbons while full-color printing can be done at a rate of 144 cards per hour. The printer accepts standard CR-80 size cards with thickness of 30 mil. The printers measures just 6.5 x 15.4 x 8.3″ and weighs 5.6 pounds and connects to a Windows or MAC computer via USB.
