Inktense 72 Ink Pencils Wooden Box Set – Derwent

The entire range of 72 Inktense Pencils presented in a beautiful wooden box. Derwent Inktense are a water-soluble permanent and bright colouring pencil. You can use them dry but mix them with water and the colour turns into vibrant ink. Once dry the colour is fixed and you can work over the top of it allowing layer upon layer of transparent colour. Once colours are washed out they dry quickly meaning very little bleed occurs so colours can be positioned next to each other. As the colour is permanent Inktense may also be for fabric and silk painting as well as printmaking. The Inktense pencil has a round stained ink blue barrel with colour dip end and metallic blue trim. The Inktense range consists of 72 colours which includes the Outliner pencil; a non-soluble pencil that can be to block colour where needed.
