The finished steel cage combined with the painted woodgrain finished base gives a lively charm to this versatile fan. The fan is designed to push air down into the room where you live. The included LED bulbs are long lasting deliver plenty of light and are dimmable using the included remote control. The fan blades are made of Lexan thermoplastic which unlike fans with wood blades means our fans can be used in dry or damp locations like a covered porch. The fan and light are controlled by the included remote control and is not compatible with wall dimmer switches. An In-Wall Remote Control is available for purchase as an accessory model AR-WALL-REMOTE. The fan has 3 speeds low medium and high and the blade direction is reversible using a manual switch located on the housing. This fan generates air-movement sound when in-use with maximum decibles of 59 on high speed. The blades have a much steeper pitch than traditional ceiling fans and spin much faster. As a result the air being moved by the blades makes a sound similar to white noise and increases on medium and high speeds. This fan can be used on sloped ceilings with no additional hardware required.
