K-Flex 374 UV protective coating provides a flexible satin finish that is decorative as well as protective. It is supplied in gallon containers. This product is designed for industrial use only and should be applied only by trained and qualified craftspeople. The surfaces to be coated should be wiped until thoroughly oil-free clean and dry. These protective coating may be applied with a brush short-nap roller or sprayed. For best results a two-coat application is recommended. Apply between 40 and 110 degrees F. Do not over brush. Seams freshly joined with K-Flex contact adhesives are not affected by coating of K-Flex 374 protective coating. Food stored in area should be removed during application to avoid odor pick-up. Do not thin. Stir well. Close container after each use. Use fresh clean water for clean up. Indoor application: 374 protective coating offers a tough cleanable surface for indoor applications. K-Flex recommends that the coating should not be tinted. These protective coating can be used to protect elastomeric duct liner from UV degradation when UV sterilization lights are used within the air handling system. It is 25/50-rated when tested to ASTM E84 standards and contains EPA-registered antimicrobial agent for mold and mildew control. 374 protective coating meets Lead requirements for architectural non-flat paint when used indoors. Outdoor application: 374 protective coating offers protection from the harmful effects of UV rays when applied to insulation outdoors. It should not be confused as a waterproof mastic and should not be used in areas where water ponding could occur. Water/EVA ethylene vinyl acetate base/type. 57 percent by weight solids content. Medium syrup viscosity. Brush roller or spray application. 300 square feet per gallon per coat coverage. 6 months shelf life in original sealed container storage temperature 60 to 80 degree F keep from freezing.
