The Kidde smoke alarm also features LED warning lights in conjunction with an 85 decibel alarm that alert you to various status: a green light means the unit is in proper working operation while a red light indicates a smoke fire or carbon monoxide incident. The test-hush button feature allows testing of the alarm while the hush button allows for temporary silence of the alarm. Operates on 3 AAbatteries included. Allows for interconnection in a multiple station configuration that will enable wireless communication with other compatible alarms in the case of a smoke or CO event.
