The combination smoke carbon monoxide detector provides continuous protection from smoke and carbon monoxide even during power outages. A red LED will flash be accompanied by 3 long alarm beeps followed by a verbal warning that warns of fire carbon monoxide low battery. The test button ensures operating power. The alarm will automatically activate when its attached to the mounting bracket. The alarm includes a Replacement Alert: after 10 years of use it will chirp 2 times every 30 seconds to indicate the alarm needs to be replaced.
