The flexible mic can be used on a wide range of sources including vocals guitars strings overheads kicks toms and percussion. At its core the microphone features a 1.25″ cardioid condenser capsule with an ultra-low-noise JFET amplifier and a vintage-inspired output transformer. The 120 Hz low-cut filter helps reduce boomy lows or low-end room rumbles while the 12 kHz high-cut filter helps to tame bright rooms and harsh sources. A spider shockmount is included to insulate the mic from vibrations and handling noise.
