Made from dense nonporous stoneware that blocks moisture absorption for exceptional strength then finished with a vibrant glaze that resists stains and scratches from metal utensils and makes for easy cleanup. To use: pack the cup on the underside of the lid with butter then fill the crock one-third of the way up with cold water. Invert the lid/cup into the water creating an air-tight seal. When you’re ready to spread open the lid and set it on its wide flat knob. Change the water every few days for best results.
