This 8-1/2″ deep double pull-out RV step opens and closes with just 1 hand and securely locks into place when stowed. A slip-resistant surface provides safe entry and exit. Bolts or welds onto your RV frame. All it takes is 1 hand to expand or retract the steps – simply grab the edge of the bottom step and pull out for use and push in for storage. Because you only need to grab the front edge of the bottom step your hand stays clear of any moving parts. The steps will automatically lock into place when stowed so you can have peace of mind knowing that the steps won’t accidentally extend while your RV is in motion. Easy Installation Installing the steps on your RV is simple. Several pre-drilled holes in the steps’ mounting brackets let you match up to the holes in your RV’s frame for an easy bolt-on installation. Use 2 carriage bolts and locknuts not included on each side to attach the mounting bracket to your RV’s frame. The steps can also be welded to the frame. Outriggers sold separately may be needed for installation depending on the model of your original stairs. Slip-Resistant Surface and Sturdy Steel Construction These strong steel steps have a rugged diamond groove tread built into the surface to provide excellent traction so you won’t slip as you climb into and out of your RV. Because it’s built in the tread maintains its texture after repeated use and exposure to rain snow ice and mud. And a 1/2″ wide strip of grip tape near the edge of each step provides additional traction. Sturdy steel construction gives you a firm and strong step underfoot. Plus the black powder coat finish provides long-lasting rust resistance.
