An 18% reduction of frictional forces applied to ceramic bearings ensure a lifespan 4 to 6 times longer than standard steel bearings. The titanium axle is incredibly ligthweight and guaranteed waterproof by IPX7 full immersion and IPX8 rotating pedal exposed to water jets tests. The larger the contact patch of the pedal the more efficient the power transfer. However the larger the contact patch the greater the weight. Look engineers have worked tirelessly to finetune design and reduce unnecessary surfaces to create the sweetspot for optimal transfer of power providing an end result with the best weight to contact patch ratio on the market today. Blade technology The “blade lever” system is 20% lighter than a standard spring lever system. The carbon blade fluidly bends to the shape and volume of the pedal improving aerodynamics while also revolutionising engagement offering a firm and secure fit.
