The magped SPORT 2 is an innovative and patented magnetic safety pedal in a revised and improved edition. The new version is made from a CNC aluminum block and is 54 g lighter than the first magped SPORT version. The magped SPORT 2 is the universal entry-level Magped and is equipped with magnets on one side. The safety pedal is the pedal innovation for mountain bikes and e-bikes. The use of the patented magnetic mechanism enables the foot to be detached from the pedal safely quickly and easily at any time. The risk of falling and injury is reduced to an absolute minimum compared to pedals with fixed connections e.g. clipless pedal system – and the head remains free for enjoyable biking without fear.
