The Hot Dawg HD30AS0111 hangs from the ceiling. It features quiet operation and installs easily. The QuickSling Flush Mount QSWI3000 mounting bracket which includes all the hardware required for flush mount installation is available separately. The QSWI3000 is suitable to hold up to 200 pounds. Additionally the HD30AS0111 must be vented outside either horizontally or vertically with 3″ venting. A venting system is required but is not supplied with the unit and must be purchased separately in the field. The HD30AS0111 is a 30000 BTU heater certified for residential commercial and industrial use. With that kind of heat you can warm up a one to a one and a half car garage or any similar sized commercial or industrial space. The Hot Dawg heater works with any standard or programmable thermostat the kind generally found in your home. Gas is lit with a direct spark igniter on call for heatThis Hot Dawg HD30AS0111 heater is Natural Gas with an optional Liquid Propane Conversion Kit 53079 sold separately above. This unit requires gas vent and electrical connections. Modine strongly recommends having a licensed HVAC technician install your Hot Dawg gas heater.
