Part of the renowned Mega collection known for its size high-grade acrylic resins durability and exceptional writing experience the Super Mega Abalone continues this tradition. The limited edition collection showcases the stunning inner nacre layer of authentic abalone shell from New Zealand historically used in jewelry buttons and inlays in furniture and musical instruments. Hand-turned and hand-polished the barrel of the pen beautifully reflects the iridescent colors of the abalone shell including deep cobalt blue peacock green purples creams and pinks enhanced by the choice of rose gold or gunmetal trim options. Available in both Fountain Pen and Rollerball modes the fountain pen features a stainless steel #6 JoWo nib engraved with the Monteverde USA logo offering a range of point sizes from Extra Fine to 1.1mm Stub and Omniflex; the 14KT Gold nib comes in Omniflex size. The rollerball accepts standard international refills. Each pen is presented in a luxurious green gift box with a custom sleeve design.
