MOTU is launching a completely revised audio interface under the simple name 828 which replaces all previous 828 predecessor models. The MOTU 828 can be connected to a Mac PC or iOS device via USB3 with extremely low latency and drivers to a Mac PC or iOS device and offers 60 audio input and output channels with excellent output channels with outstanding analogue performance powered by the renowned ESS Sabre32 DAC technology and an internal 24-channel mixer with integrated effects processing including reverb 4-band EQ and compression. Advanced functions include microphone channel inserts for outboard devices optical expansion mode word clock and Wi-Fi control via a smartphone or tablet.
